We the person?

I have intentionally not written in the last 90 days.  I really wanted to take a break and gather my thoughts about this world and how it is working.

In the last few weeks, ONE PERSON is making decisions that are impacting the entire Gulf Coast economy in a negative way.

One person has decided that there will be a moratorium on offshore drilling.  ONE PERSON!!!

One person has failed to kick FEMA's ass and get them dealing with the oil spill.  ONE PERSON!!!

One person has failed to accept the foreign supertankers with oil spill clean up ability.  ONE PERSON!!!

One person has failed to order his administration to get busy.  ONE PERSON!!!

One person has failed to declare the proper state of emergency needed to allow routine approval procedures for emergency response to be waived.  ONE PERSON!!!

One person is pushing a cap and trade bill because he believes that raising my taxes, my home energy cost and the cost of my gasoline will prevent a crisis like that which is occurring in the Gulf.  And if you don’t know what the cap and trade bill is… you better educate yourself to this liberal piece of crap.  ONE PERSON!!!

One person has decided that the federal government will battle a state on a law they have passed because the federal government is not doing its job with managing immigration.  ONE PERSON!!!

We the person, in order to form a more perfect union…

We the person?

Really – is this where we are?

Folks, this is scary.  And before you tell me it is good for the country that this ONE PERSON is doing all this, then I am going to say that you and I are polar opposites and perhaps reaching a point of impasse where your lack of understanding and blissful ignorance of where this nation is headed is problematic to the survival of our country and MY freedom.

So… if you are going to lecture me about oil… stop driving, stop buying plastic, stop using electricity, and use no textiles!  For the first time in your life, put your mouth where you CLAIM you principles are…. otherwise – SHUT UP!

If you are going to lecture me about legal immigration and how the people in Arizona are racist, then move to a border community and live in the muck that is being created there by lack of federal intervention and border protection.  AND while you are on your peace loving visit, let those people know that you value the lifestyle of an illegal immigrant fleeing Mexico ABOVE that of the many being killed by the peace loving illegal criminals flooding the border states.  Again, get on a plane, go to a border state and spread your love.  Otherwise… keep your mouth shut.

And by the way…. do this with your money.  Not on the backs of the government or your parents.  Do this with your money and your time.  In case you don’t know… you local worldwide HELP ME CORP is funded on the backs of others.

And why can’t we all get along?  Because we are being pitted against each other by the leader of the one person party.  Black against white.  Wealthy against poor ETC, ETC, ETC.

Heed this warning… today it is oil, yesterday it was GM, and months ago it was the banking industry.  This ONE PERSON has led to the nationalization of these once great American enterprises.  Tomorrow it could be you profession.

If you want me to work and so that you can get a piece of my wealth, then you need to pack your bags and get the hell out of my country.

If you want me to work and you bask on my salary in the name of your mental piece of mind through healthcare, then you need to go to a country where that is happening.

If you think the rich are too rich then I ask you… WHY HAVENT YOU STARTED YOUR OWN BUSINESS?  WHAT IS HOLDING YOU BACK?  Step up little Johnny and show us how easy it is… really… quit your job tomorrow and go make it on your own.  Tell your big, bad, rich, polluting, horrible, employer to kiss your butt.  Hit the road.  Show me little Johnny, show me how easy it is!!

Be grateful for what you have and stop asking for more because you are ENTITLED.

You are guaranteed nothing except the right to life, liberty and the PURSUIT of happiness.

If you mess your life up – OWN IT and leave me alone!

One person.

What will you – one person – do?

Me, I am firing every elected official I can.  PERIOD. DOT. THE END.

I am not casting ONE VOTE FOR ONE single incumbent at the federal level.

That is what this one person is doing.

That is all for now…

Damn you George Bush!

Oh my god - GUAM!

You must watch this.

This is a US Congressman.

He gets to vote.

He is making decisions for you and me that impact our life!

If you need a reason to stop playing Farmville and start paying attention to DC, here it is…

I don’t know what to say.

I am speechless.

I am impressed that the gallery did not erupt with laughter.

Watch and listen as this fine US Congressman says “Guam will tip over and capsize.”

I can’t believe this man is an elected congressman.

God help us all!

For the love of god, it is only 545 people!

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of 300 million American are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

Excluded are the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

Excluded are all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits.  The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi. She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility.

I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red .

If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ , it's because they want them in IRAQ

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible!

They, and they alone, have the power!

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses!

Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees...

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

This article was written by Charlie Reese.  He is a former columnist of the Orlando Sentinel Newspaper.

This might be funny if it weren't so darned true.

Less than 100 years ago our nation was the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.  We had no taxes.

What in the WORLD happened? Can you spell 'politicians?'

I hope this goes around THE USA at least 100 times!!! YOU can help it get there!!!

____

Charlie Reese, a retired reporter for the Orlando Sentinel has hit the nail directly on the head, defining clearly who it is that in the final analysis must assume responsibility for the judgments made that impact each one of us every day.

It's a short but good read. Worth the time. Worth remembering!

AT&T, CATEPILLAR, 3M, others…

If you have access to ANY CEO, please pass this along…

So I have been thinking… I have a really good idea for the CEOs of the companies that are experiencing a negative impact as a result of the new healthcare bill.

Please read my memo:

Attention Mr. CEO;

This past week ATT announced it faces a BILLION dollar loss directly related the new healthcare plan.  Now this plan, mind you, was not not supposed to raise taxes or cost more money, for anyone.

Caterpillar and 3M also announced they would lose 90 to 100 million each.

I am certain this is only the beginning.

I am also certain that this will translate to lost jobs.

So.... Here is my plan:

If you are a CEO and you are laying people off as a result of increased healthcare taxes, then I have a suggestion.  Lay off people FIRST that live in the CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICTS of those REPRESENTATIVES that voted for the bill.  Yes, you read that correctly.  Lay them off based on what has caused the problem.

Why... those that voted for this claimed it would not cost jobs or more money.

The goal: Bring the pain right to the districts and representatives that caused it.

Lastly, when you do this, make it very big and very public.

It is time you take a stand!

Davy Crockett… where are you now?

This is one of the best speeches given by a US House member.

It is not about healthcare…

Why don’t we set the record straight.  The healthcare bill is not about healthcare.  It is about freedom.

Yes, there are many issues surrounding the healthcare crisis, but ultimately this is about freedom.

Let me remind you, the government ALWAYS – without exception – over promises and under delivers.

Health care will be no exception.

IF YOU READ NO OTHER PART OF THIS BLOG – read this part.

This past week your President was interviewed by the evil Fox News Network.  During that interview he said that he was not was not concerned about the procedural issues in the Senate or the House.  He said, we needed to get this bill done, period, not matter what it takes.

My interpretation is this – THE ENDS, JUSTIFIES the MEANS.

This is the most dangerous thought to freedom.

The reason law abiding people submit to the constitution is because of law and process.  The House is currently attempting to figure out how they can circumvent the law and bring this bill into law without a direct vote on the law.  100% unconstitutional.

Again, the reason law abiding people such as myself submit to the constitution is because the process is bigger then us.  However, when the ends begin to justify the means, freedom is in jeopardy.  When the House and Senate are figuring out ways to circumvent the will of the people, their remains little difference between their actions and that of tyrants.

I challenge you people that read this NOT to get wrapped up into healthcare.  If it were good thing, this country would embrace it.  However, the reality is that the latest polls show 66% of the country against it.

Again – I believe it is about freedom.  Not healthcare.

My thoughts.
